Review: Presenting HELACLOUD SDS with FUCHS SE at SAP EHS and Product Compliance Conference

How can Artificial Intelligence (AI) help drive efficency in product stewardship processes? Together with FUCHS SE we presented our solution for automated extraction and validation of data from Safety Data Sheets from suppliers.
Migration to S/4HANA - opportunity for digitalization and automation.
Like many other companies in the chemical industry, the Product Stewardship team at FUCHS SE is facing major challenges, not only in its day-to-day business, faced with growing regulatory requirements, but also in managing the SAP S/4HANA transformation, which is tying up many product safety resources.
FUCHS decided to use the upcoming changes as an opportunity to further push the standardization and automation of its processes. So they implemented HELACLOUD SDS as a supporting tool for the global raw material process, to automate and optimize the extraction and validation of incoming safety data sheets.
HELACLOUD SDS is connected with FUCHS SAP System, to directly transfer the verified SDS data, using our phrase matching tool to assign incoming phrases correctly to their existing phrase set.
Holistic approach - extraction, validation, SAP integration
In future, FUCHS SE will run HELACLOUD SDS on SAP BTP – as soon as the S/4HANA landscape is ready. And we will integrate further processes into the tool towards a holistic view on SDS handling .
