Impressions from this years BDI conference on eSDScom
This week we attended again the annual conference on eSDScom – the XML-based format to exchange safety data sheets (SDS).
Over 50 participants attended the 11th Conference at the “Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie” (BDI) in Berlin. This year’s focus was:
- How does eSDScom integrate into the Digital Product Passport (DPP) and Digital Labelling
- How can Artificial Intelligence help creating and using eSDScom XML data.
We were please to also contribute with our presentation to put a “Spotlight on artificial intelligence in connection with eSDScom” and taking part in the lively Panel Discussion “Will AI outrule or enhance established standards like XML?”
For us – as supplier of the SDS extraction tool HELACLOUD SDS – the conference was again an excellent opportunity for lively exchange of visions, ideas and possible joint approaches.
